T-Systems launches new XING Enterprise Group for employees and alumni worldwide

Hamburg, December 1, 2008 – T-Systems is inviting all former and current employees around the world to start networking with one another in the “T-Systems Community” on XING at

www.xing.com/net/tsystems. Tailored to the specific requirements of the company, the group will encourage active dialogue and facilitate lively exchanges amongst employees and alumni of the multinational company. “Global alumni management will become increasingly important for us in the future. All employees – both current and former – act as ambassadors for our company. It is our aim to enrich our corporate culture with their diverse range of experiences and viewpoints – and establishing a lively online environment is an important milestone here,” said Dr. Matthias Schuster, Head of Human Resources at T-Systems. More than 10,000 current and former T-Systems employees are XING members at the moment, meaning that almost 20 percent of the entire international target group is already registered on the platform. “We are very pleased that T-Systems has become yet another enterprise to place their trust in our corporate solutions. This is testimony to the modern and scalable nature of the community services we offer our clients, which are suitable for both globally operational companies and medium-sized firms alike,” said Davide Villa, Senior Vice President B2B at XING AG.

T-Systems integrates own community within Europe’s leading business network
This partnership XING sees T-Systems integrate its own community within Europe’s leading professional network. The new Enterprise Group – which builds on an already existing T-Systems group on XING – will be available from December 1 onwards. The former community is now an Enterprise Group that has been expanded with the addition of numerous new features. T-Systems colleagues can now benefit from enhanced global search capabilities, an optimized exchange of ideas and experiences, and increased opportunities to organize and attend both online and offline events. For employees and alumni of the global service provider specialized in Information and Communication Technology, there are many other advantages of joining the group as well: from exclusive access to relevant business and technology information to participation in virtual events like webcasts, webinars and former employee talks, right through to knowledge transfer in specialist forums. They also have search options within the group, enabling them for instance to find (former) colleagues who work in similar business fields anywhere else in the world.
