XING Summer School Intern (m/f) - Data Prediction

XING is the social network for business professionals with millions of members all over the world. Help us shape the future – for a better working life!

XING is offering a summer internship program at our headquarters in Hamburg.

Join the XING team, which is passionate about creating the leading online business network in the D-A-CH region, for three months within the period of June until October 2018. During that summer you will be part of our Grand Central team and work on a challenging project which aims to predict information about new users.

Help us to be more relevant to our users. Profile fill rates are not always sufficient to provide our users the experience we want them to have. A huge variety of available data sources might help us to predict information about our users.

Your team will brief you on the intent and expected outcome of the project in more detail right at the start, while a mentor will accompany you along the road to success.

An onboarding boot camp, intense methodology and soft skills training, networking events as well as career guidance will round off your experience with us.

No matter whether your internship is voluntary or mandatory, we will pay you €1,540 gross per month.

We are hiring:

• Data nerds with drive and passion
• Learning animals leaving their comfort zone
• Communicators (English fluency) and interactors
• Students with an academic background in computer sciences or mathematics
• Graduates of the class of  2018/2019 are highly welcome

An inspiring Environment

XING offers a dynamic environment located in the center of Hamburg. As well as flexible working hours, you’ll have an opportunity to unleash your skills and acquire new ones. We also provide free drinks and organic fruit as well as a public transport ticket and restaurant vouchers. Moreover you can participate in some of our famous workshops and parties. You’ll also be provided with proper IT equipment, and our offices have table football. If you’re feeling really sporty, we also have great gym deals, and various other benefits such as free magazines, …

If this program matches your expertise, experience and aspirations, we would be delighted to receive your full application including your field of interest during your summer stay with us. Our program has a rolling intake during mid June till mid July 2018, and the closing date for applications is 30 April 2018. Non-EU applicants please make sure to apply four months prior to your planned starting date due to the required visa process.
