XING Summer School Intern (m/f) – Frontend Engineering

Join the XING team, which is passionate about creating the leading online business network in the D-A-CH region, for three months within the period of June until October 2018.

During that summer you will work on a challenging project in our People team, which owns the connections between users on XING. As part of the team you will work as a frontend engineer helping re-launching the contacts section on XING as a responsive experience built on React/Redux and GraphQL. Your team will brief you on the intent and expected outcome of the project right at the start, while a mentor will accompany you along the road to success. An onboarding boot camp, intense methodology and soft skills training, networking events as well as career guidance will round off your experience with us. No matter whether your internship is voluntary or mandatory, we will pay you €1,540 gross per month.

A convincing background
  • Study background in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Attention to good design and user experience
  •  Knowledge of web development tools and method
  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript, React, CSS
  • Experience with tools like Jest, Webpack, Flow is a plus
  • Proficient English language skills (German is not required)
