We currently have a job opening for a Translator (German > English) and English copywriter, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Translate online materials as requested into English
• Review translated materials and edit for sense, accuracy, grammar, style, formatting and consistency
• Some translation management with external partners

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A degree in translation or applied linguistics at the bachelor’s or master’s level, or equivalent experience as a freelance translator and/ or translation manager
• Native English translator with fluency in German, additional foreign language skills advantageous
• Ability to work in an independent, proactive manner and also harmonize in a team setting
• Some proficiency in CAT tools desirable
• High degree of Internet affinity mandatory
