Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the conception, development and usage of data mining models as the basis for our Customer Intelligence activities
• Management, implementation, documentation and presentation of complex analysis projects
• Support to all divisions with respect to profit-oriented management of activities
• Proactive support of Management and divisions
• Independent ongoing development of the Customer Intelligence division

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Information Management or Business Economics
• Sound proficiency in applying multivariate statistics and in the development of forecasting models
• Ability to analyze and process and complex facts and large volumes of data
• Practical experience working with data mining tools such as SAS, SPSS or R
• Excellent SQL and database knowledge
• Extensive insights into specialist topics such as the semantic web, web2.0 / web3.0, social networks and recommender systems
• A high degree of self-initiative, with an assertiveness and ability to get things done
• Excellent communicational skills in both English and German
