Frontend Engineer/ JavaScript (m/f)

We currently have a job opening for a Frontend Engineer/ JavaScript, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming of modern Web 2.0 front-ends using JavaScript and AJAX
  • Implementing new features, maintaining and updating our platform
  • Assurance of cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with developers and product managers 


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent JavaScript skills
  • Advanced knowledge of DOM Manipulation and AJAX
  • Familiar with frameworks such as Prototype or jQuery
  • Basic (X)HTML and CSS skills
  • Good knowledge of at least one server-side programming language would be advantageous
  • UNIX shell and version control software experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work well in a team, particularly with developers and product managers
  • A good level of English is required
