We currently have a job opening for a Software Quality Manager - Senior Software/ Test Engineer, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Development of tools to support automated and manual testing (e.g. generation of test data)
• Tool development for the compiling and evaluation of test results
• Development of automated test suites
• Maintenance and ongoing development of the test infrastructure

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or similar scientific subject; or alternatively a comparative academic background and/or experience
• At least 5 years’ experience working in software development (Java)
• In-depth practical insights into testing tools (e.g. Empirix, Mercury, Selenium)
• Sound understanding of version management systems (Git, Subversion)
• Linux skills (basic administration skills, bash, vi) would be advantageous
• Ideally, previous experience working with Perl and/or Ruby on Rails
• Expert knowledge of quality assurance of web-based software products would be advantageous
• Knowledge of web applications and programming (e.g. HTML, DOM, HTTP, Apache, Tomcat)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Very good German and English skills
