We currently have a job opening for a Software Quality Manager - Junior Test Analyst, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration as a tester in agile software development projects
• Definition of test concepts and plans for existing features and those still to be developed
• Implementation of manual and automated tests
• Close cooperation with project management, product management and software development

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or comparative scientific subject
• Strong interest in software quality, willingness to specialize in software testing
• ISTQB Certified Tester; Foundation Level or equivalent status and skills
• Well-founded knowledge of agile software development methods (e.g. XP, Scrum)
• In-depth practical insights into testing tools (e.g. Empirix, Mercury, Selenium)
• Experience working with issue tracking systems (e.g. Atlassian, JIRA, Bugzilla)
• 1-3 years’ professional experience in software quality assurance would be advantageous
• Ideally, previous experience in quality assurance of web-based software products
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Very good German and English skills
