Business Development Manager Subscriptions (m/f)
We currently have a job opening for a Business Development Manager Subscriptions, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives for both new and existing business
- Take over business ownership of Subscription Revenue Generation for Austria and Switzerland
- Identify needs and opportunities for sales, PR, marketing and product localization to drive subscriptions in Austria and Switzerland
- Drive initiatives inside XING to better serve these markets
- Force and support other initiatives of the subscriptions business unit
- Create and maintain an understanding of existing and new business, including business planning, performance and key drivers
- Establish new distribution channels and a bulk sales program for subscriptions
- Create geographic segmentation for localized sales, marketing and product activities
- Introduce new subscription products for specific target segments
- Enhance retention and win back of paying subscribers
- Increase overall member growth
- Create new and innovative initiatives and approaches for growing the Subscriptions Business
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in both established and start-up companies, in a business development, sales or general management role
- University degree in business administration (B.A. or M.A.) or equivalent is required
- Experience in initiating and executing internal as well as external business initiatives and working in cross-functional teams
- Experience in business modeling and tracking business performance
- High affinity for online business concepts and social networking
- Good social skills and strong degree of comfort interfacing at all levels of an organization is essential
- An ability to take initiative and make sound business judgment is required
- Fluency in German and English is required
