We currently have a job opening for a Manager International France, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, initiation, implementation and continuous optimization of all activities in France
  • Management of online marketing and business development activities in France
  • Promotion of XING to increase visibility and awareness within the market in collaboration with the Marketing and PR (Corporate Communications) teams at our headquarters
  • Assurance of growth in revenues and member development in France
  • Screening of the market in France for new cooperation partners
  • Close key strategic relationships with business partners
  • Monitoring and regular reporting on developments in social networking software/ Web 2.0 

 
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in International Business Development and/or Sales and Marketing expertise within the Internet industry, preferably with proven experience working in the French market
  • In-depth knowledge of the online market and contacts in this business sector in France
  • Strong project management skills
  • Master or Bachelor degree level required
  • Proactive, highly motivated and able to work in an organized manner
  • Willingness to travel is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Good business acumen
  • Fluency in French and English is essential, fluency in German would be preferable
