Junior Screen & Web Designer (m/f)

We currently have a job opening for a Junior Screen & Web Designer, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and design of layouts and graphics
  • Support of product development in conception and implementation as well as advising on usability issues
  • Quality assurance and development of the overall visual presentation
  • Consultancy activities for internal and external communications tasks (online and in print)

 
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience as screen designer (preferably in consumer segment)
  • Graphical and typographic sense and usability experience
  • Comfortable working with Photoshop and experience in creating Web-optimized graphics
  • Knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Flash would be helpful, as would 3D or illustration experience
  • Comprehensive understanding for the possibilities and limitations of browser-based technologies such as HTML, CSS and AJAX
  • Very good German and English abilities
