We currently have a job opening for a Junior Manager Engineering/ Junior Developer Ruby on Rails, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of future additions to the XING platform using Ruby on Rails
  • Diligent software documentation and versioning
  • Work in a fast-moving environment with developers and product managers

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Software Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
  • Good knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. Ruby, Java, C++, Python, PHP5, Perl) and general OOP concepts
  • Ideally, professional software development experience (internship or project work)
  • Dedication and a high level of self-initiative and willingness to learn
  • Fluency in English and German
