Data Warehouse Architect (m/f)

We currently have a job opening for a Data Warhouse Architect, available at the soonest possible starting date. The position is based at our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Independent conception and design of complex data warehouse architectures
  • Planning, implementation and administration of ETL processes within a heterogeneous system landscape
  • Operation and maintenance of the central data warehouse
  • Definition of the technical and organizational interfaces between internal departments and existing systems
  • Creation of relational and multidimensional database models


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least three years’ experience working on data warehouse architectures and ETL concepts
  • A thorough understanding of the core areas of data warehouse and Business Intelligence technologies
  • Excellent SQL programming skills (at least three years’ experience) and a sound knowledge of Java
  • Very good knowledge of physical and logical data modeling
  • Familiarity with the Linux/Open Source environment
  • Experience in project management; proven consultancy skills
  • Outstanding communication skills in both English and German
