Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

• Software development in teams of approx. 4-8 Perl developers (Environment: Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl, HTML, CSS and Ajax)
• Close conceptual cooperation with the respective product owner
• Agile software development

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good knowledge of the development of database driven web applications
• Good knowledge of Perl or PHP or any other interpreter language
• Ideally, experience in performance optimization and scalability, as well as experience working with other Web technologies such as Java, PHP or Ruby
• An enthusiasm for creating applications that our users like using
• An enthusiasm for and creative approach to solving difficult programming problems
• Good communication skills
• Good English skills
